Winter Weather!

We've had lots of ice and snow the past two weeks! My school has been canceled 12 days so far, but the weather should be warmer soon! We were lucky and didn't lose electricity or heat during the ice storm.

December Visit

We had a wonderful trip over Christmas break. Also, we had a nice surprise before we left and would like to thank Whitney again in her generosity in helping us with our trip! We are very thankful for her kindness!

He is very happy, healthy and growing! It was very sad to leave him, but we know he is with a wonderful foster family that loves him very much! We are grateful for their love and care. We still have not heard anything and are waiting for the judge to review our case and hopefully grant approval! We found out some wonderful news that Brady (he has the same foster family) has been approved by PGN and will hopefully be home by the end of April or May! Fortunately he will be close by so the boys can remain in touch. Hopefully we will get approval soon too!!

STILL NO NEWS!! :(

We found out last night that our case is 1,450 "in line" to be heard by the judge and that the judge finished the 1,412th case yesterday. They do not know how many cases are being reviewed a day, but at least we do not seem too far from being heard by the judge.

The judge is supposed to redirect our case to the judge that handles adoptions. Hopefully we will get there soon!!

New Pictures

Jo Carole and Paul brought us these pictures from their last visit to Guatemala! A decision on our case was supposed to be made two weeks ago, but instead our case was sent to the wrong court. The judge was supposed to make a decision this past Wednesday on whether or not to send our case to the correct court. It has been postponed until next week. No other news, but these pictures make us happy!!
